MY STORY

"You can't fill from an empty cup."

I heard this phrase during a business leaders retreat in 2009, and it stuck with me ever since. It’s now a philosophy I not only live by, but believe in whole-heartedly.  We dedicate so much of our time giving to others and so little time filling our own cup.

This is a challenge I see so many people face, myself included.  Amidst our busy lives, how is it possible to fill our cup with enough for both ourselves and others?  In other words, if we don’t have our health, how can we live life to its fullest?

Take a moment to imagine a life that feels whole.  The elements and their balance are unique to you.  Maybe, you’re fulfilled at work, full of love at home, and accomplished at the gym. Maybe your yoga practice is in full swing and you have plenty of time to spend with your loved ones each day. You have your career, your family, and your “you time.”  Whatever it may be, each of those elements in the right proportion are the perfect recipe to fill your cup.

It’s time to fill your cup.  Maybe that means nourishing your body with satisfying and nutritious foods, or creating time to exercise and build a strong body that is ready for whatever challenges life brings.  Maybe it’s setting aside 10 minutes each morning while you have that first cup of coffee to set your intentions for that day in a calm, quiet setting.

We don’t have to be perfect.  But, we can create balance in our lives that results in the healthiest and happiest you.

This is where I am here to help. Together, we will focus on what fills your cup and find balance in your life, including a personalized focus on fitness and nutrition.
